Exhibits will include: plants, free soil testing, garden art, "garden talks", herb gardening, rain barrels,

organic composting, vegetables, visit with the Master Gardeners, plus much more interests.

10:00AM Carl Wayne Hardeman  " Magic in the Soil" - Carl Wayne Hardeman is a Shelby County Lifetime Master Gardener.
 He is founder of the Collierville Farmers Market, cofounder of the Collierville PAR Victory Garden, manager of the Germantown church of Christ garden, advisor to town of Collierville on composting, and founder of the Collierville zinnia garden. He received the 2016 Award of Excellence by the Memphis Horticultural Society. His interests are soil, veggies, zinnias, carnivorous plants, and sustainable, natural, and regenerative practices. You will be entertained as he shares his wealth of knowledge in the horticultural area. He lives with his wife Mimi and her pomapoo, Belle, in Collierville TN. He calls his backyard garden Speckled Bean Farms. 12:00PM Rita Randolph- "My Friends, Small Gardens and Special Places"
Rita Randolph is a life-long horticulturist, photographer and published author. She wrote the Fine Gardening ‘Container Gardening’ Special Issue in 2009 and published her own book A History of Horticulture. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Randolph’s Greenhouses for 35 years, which started by her parents almost 70 yrs ago. Rita is now concentrating on Rita’s Rare Plants and subcontracting. A sought after speaker, she now spends much of her time consulting, writing and traveling. She can be found most anywhere with plants in the car, camera around her neck, or working in a greenhouse. Recently was presented The Sterling Award as one of the top 20 influential women in West Tennessee.  A life long plant nerd, her presentations are enjoyed across the country, as she enthusiastically shares her knowledge, creative arrangements, and special finds with others. She can run a digital projector, table saw and mix concrete for Leaf Casting.   Rita can be seen at Dan Morris Nursery in Jackson TN where she works in making container gardens that are knock-outs.   You can find her on Facebook or at website ritasrareplants.com

​2:00PM Melisa Mink "The Herbal Explosion" -Melisa Mink, herbalist, will cover herbs both in the wild and domesticated for health and happiness. Learn how to boost your immune system, understand herbal functions, best sources on scouting wild herbs and helpful remedies in nature. Many great benefits are waiting right out your back door!     Melisa is a Mom of 6, living off the land, and lovin' it. From her farm in Mississippi, she and her family fully embraces homesteading by gardening, raising animals, making hand made body products and practicing herbalism. Melisa has been working with herbs and essential oils for near 20 years.    
    She speaks over the southeast and has written for Backwoods Home, as well as Self Reliant and Countryside magazines on topics such as bread making, soap making, natural homesteading, gardening, using herbs and essential oils
    From the dirt to the body she has made it her business to study and use nature for health and happiness. She has her own business centered on handmade herbal based body care and also has her own line of food grade essential oils which are sold nation wide. Her homestead products are made with her own herbs and oils, raw milk, raw honey and other local natural ingredients.
